Anco & Ewien welcome you to their website. They live and work for CAMA-Zending in Bamako, Mali

First, we would like to introduce ourselves. We are Anco en Ewien van Bergeijk. Anco has a technical degree in telecommunication, Ewien has a degree in Facility Management, and is specialised in consumer's interests.

After his study, Anco worked as a field supervisor at a telecommunication company, whereas Ewien worked as a Web coordinator. In addition, both followed missionary training college for a year at the 'Evangelische Theologische Hogeschool'.

September 2004, we changed our home in Holland, Zuidland for a home in Bamako (later Koutiala), Mali. To give technical support and help provide training and equipment in various areas to missions, churches and work-related organizations, in order to invest in the life of Maliens (= technical outreach).'

Keywords within our work are: technical support, media techniques and training/educating (young) Malians. From the start we will be working in close cooperation with the Malian church and non-profit organisations. Ultimately, it will be the Malians who will need to take responsibility for each and every project.

Examples of some technical (future) projects are: a computerproject in the boys prison in Bamako, installing solar panels to provide durable energy supplies, building websites, producing short health videos, giving technical support to radio stations.
